The soft focus works for this. Especially with the sense that you're trying to capture here. Maybe you can ease up on the highlights at the background? Nonetheless, a great work.

@Fred: thanks. good suggestion. though i kinda like the shape of the boats in the background. it just creates a bit more action or a little distraction just to stir away from the subject for a short time. appreciate your suggestion.
